In order to run each meet successfully, we MUST have parental participation! During registration, each family must sign up for 3 volunteer spots. Parents only, please. If you (or your spouse) are unable to fulfill your volunteer commitment, it is your responsibility to find a replacement. Your cooperation is much appreciated!

Volunteer Positions:

Place Judges- sits at the finishing end of the pool and writes out the order each swimmer places.

Computer Entry-entering times and place finishes into our meet management software to make sure each swimming who races receives a ribbon. Training is provided and essential before the meet.

Timers-uses a stopwatch provided by the team, times 1 lane and writes down the time and gives the time sheet to the runner.

Score Keeper-calculates the score of the meet and works with the opposing team’s scorekeeper.

Concessions-for home meets only, sell food/drinks during the meet and assist with set up and clean up depending on the time of your shift.

Runner-takes the timers’ time sheets and the place judges’ order sheets to the scorer’s table after each race.

Announcer-for home meets only, calls out the order of events to inform swimmers of the next event.

Starter-for home meets only, calls the swimmers to the starting area and starts the race.

Lane Manager- help coaches line up our swimmers for their events at least 3 races prior to their race.
